About Me!

My name is Lindsay Gomula and I am thrilled to be teaching middle school math here at Villa!  I was lucky enough to join the Villa Community last year and have really enjoyed my time so far.  I have a passion for teaching both math and middle schoolers so it is a perfect fit! My ultimate goal in teaching is to ensure that each and every student leaves my class feeling confident and enjoying math!

While this is only my 2nd year at Villa, it is my 9th year teaching middle school math.  I began my teaching career teaching in San Diego at Gompers Preparatory Academy where I taught 7th and 9th grade math for 3 years.  After my time in San Diego, I decided I needed a change of scenery and moved to Seattle, where I continued my teaching career at St. Catherine School.  I taught both 7th grade homeroom and middle school math for 4 years.

My educational background includes a Masters in Teaching from Alliant International University and a BA in Global Business from the University of Portland (Go Pilots!).

When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my fiancé (we are getting married in August), family, and friends.  I am blessed to be from a family of teachers and one of my sisters happens to be the first grade teacher here at Villa.  During my summers, I am the program director for Northwest Soccer Camp where I have been working since I was in college.

I am looking forward to continuing my journey here at Villa this year!
